Jacob Sanders

Content Creation Specialist

Jacob grew up in Barnwell County and graduated from Williston-Elko High School (WEHS) in 2014.  After high school, Jacob became the fourth person in his family to attend North Greenville University, from which he graduated with honors in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Ministry. In 2017, Jacob traveled with his Missionary Media Ministries class to Montevideo, Uruguay to produce content for Trans World Radio. Jacob’s hard work at North Greenville University did not go unnoticed. During his senior year, he was name Media Ministry Student of the Year. Jacob has also been certified in the audio editing software Pro Tools 12, and is currently in the process of obtaining his Remote Pilot’s Certificate.

Jacob has worked hard to improve his craft when it comes to media production. He worked as a producer for HIS Radio located in Greenville, SC first for their morning show, HIS Morning Crew and then later for The Living Room. Jacob now works with us as our Content Creation Specialist.

Jacob says that he loves Barnwell and is really glad that he was able to move back after living in Kingstree, SC for the past two years. Jacob plays in the worship band at the First Baptist Church in Williston alongside his brother and sister-in-law. Jacob has participated in numerous productions at the Circle Theater including Promedy, A Christmas Story, and Fiddler on the Roof Jr. In addition he acted in the WEHS productions of Oklahoma and Les Miserables. He hopes to return to the stage in the near future, saying, “As soon as I’m able to, I’d really like to get back involved in that.”
